Back from camping...

Well, we're back from camping, and I've gotta say, it was a blast. We went up on Friday afternoon after I got off work and set up. We had just enough time to get the tents staked before a rather vicious downpour hit. Soooo...we did have to deal with that, but after a while it tapered off enough for us to build a campfire and sit around it for a bit.

We ended up taking Morgan, my two brothers, Nick's sister, and her boyfriend, and it was wonderful to get to spend some time with them. The rain moved out Saturday morning, after cooling things down considerably (no small thing), and we spent the day swimming, and fishing, and just hanging out. Nick did all the cooking, and everybody was quite impressed. He made some awesome breakfast burritos to start the day with, and dinner the first night was an amazing pork tenderloin cooked in the campfire with vegetables. Sunday we had this incredible casserole for breakfast, and delicious hamburgers for dinner.

Sunday my parents came up with my aunt and uncle, and all the boys discovered a nearby rope swing. Nick and I took a ride in my dad's boat (borrowed for the trip), and my dad took Morgan out in it. I think he enjoyed it as much as she did. My brother took Morgan fishing later that day, and she caught 3 fish! It was her first time catching anything, and she was sooooo proud of herself, although she insisted they all get thrown back.

We came back Sunday night and just basically crashed on the couch and watch Walk the Line on pay-per-view. All in all, it was a lovely weekend, and I can't wait to do it again.

Keyword Analysis

I always enjoy seeing what keywords get people to my blog, and this grouping seemed frighteningly appropriate.

I am, of course, AngelBrat, and that happens to be my most frequent search term, which makes me feel good. It makes me feel like at least a few people out there are looking, not just for any spanking site, but for my particular spanking site.

As for spanking southern states, well, we're definitely in the South, so I can check that one off. Now, belt spanking over the couch, that takes me right back to my last spanking, which was last Wednesday, and you can bet it left me a well spanked wife.

Now, if I could just get another good girl spanking going. WEG...

We're going camping this weekend, which would normally get me very excited about the prospect of some outdoor spanking fun. Let's see...Tuesday night after I posted, I went back downstairs, aware that there was a spanking somewhere on the agenda, but fairly sure it wouldn't happen that night. Still, I didn't want to just announce that I was going to bed without making sure that he didn't want to go ahead and deal with it first. So, I asked him if it was okay with him if I went up and went to sleep. He gave it some thought and said, "Well, we have something to take care of, but we'll do it tomorrow. I want to do it when I can devote a little more time to it."

When we'd left my parents' house that night Morgan had been heartbroken to leave the new kitten, in tears actually. So my mom promised her that she'd swing by and pick her up on her way home from work the next day. With this in mind, I asked Nick if we could take care of things when I got home from work, since there would be no little ears to worry about. He agreed.

When I got home from work the next day, Morgan was at my mom's house as promised. Nick and I visited with each other for a bit, just exchanging "how was your day" type stuff. Then he got up and got the belt.

Now this belt is unique among his other belts in that, as of a few days ago, it's sole function became spanking my butt. He's had it for a while, and it's reached that lovely worn, floppy state. The end was starting to fray a bit, and he decided he needed a new one. However, no need for this one to go to waste - so he announced that he would keep it just to use for spanking me. I can't even describe how this changed my perception of this particular belt. Instantly it became 100 times scarier, sexier, more noticeable, more there.

So anyway, he told me to kneel in front of the couch and bend over. I obeyed, and he wrapped his arm firmly around my waste. He spent some time lecturing me, making sure I was aware of just what had landed me in this position, and then he began to spank. Hard. There were no easy licks here. And just a few licks in, a spot on my left cheek began to throb as the end of the belt snapped against it over and over. I did my best. I really intended to stay still. But on the 94th whack, my butt said, "Screw this!" and jerked itself into the floor. As it turns out I was only 6 from the end. But that little trick earned me another 25 (up from 20 when I didn't get back into place as soon as I was told), and those were definitely extras.

Now I'll be honest: I think that if you earn extras, they should be extra hard. After all, disobeying during a spanking is bad news. So the punishment should be a little worse - panties down, very hard, maybe even with a worse implement, or after some corner time. BUT, that theory doesn't mean I enjoy getting those extras. Just that I recognize that I deserve them.

Anyway, my bottom is sporting a couple of nice bruises now (that throbbing spot), but I definitely feel loved and cared for. I've worked on Morgan's room since then, and I will have it completely done by the time Nick gets home from work tomorrow. (Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'll have plenty to report).

After my spanking was over and I had dried my tears, Nick took me out to dinner at my favorite Japanese restaurant, and we got to enjoy a nice, peaceful, grownup meal before we went to pick up Morgan.

Last night was awesome. Spectacular. Simply amazing. Nick gave me a very much needed erotic spanking, complete with some very hot dialogue about how naughty I've been by "neglecting" a certain part of my wifely duty. Plans were announced that tonight would restart the discipline part of our relationship for something I've been less committed to than I promised (getting Morgan's room in perfect order - we want to clean the carpet and hopefully soon get her a new bed so that we can have ours back). However, family obligations called, and we just got back from my parents' house. There was no emergency other than that my mom hadn't seen Morgan for all of 4 days, and they had a new kitten they were dying to introduce her to. We've put them off as far as a visit for the last few days just because we were busy, and tonight it was time to make room for their needs. So, the spanking will more than likely get put off, but I'm tired enough that that's more of a relief than usual tonight.

Anyway, I'm still basking in the very steamy memory of last night. WEG.

Cleaning House...

I did some much needed house cleaning on the links list tonight. I always hate to delete links, but the ones I got rid of either haven't updated any time this year, or the writers have moved (in which case I've added the new link). It's not fair to the people who do update (or for my readers) for the readers here to have to wade through dead blogs to find current sites. If I've removed your link and you do decide to hop back into blogging, please let me know, because I 'd love to re-link you...
