Quick Check In

This will probably be a quick post, but I wanted to check in. Kate and her kids came in last week, and it was a very nice time. She took us out to eat a couple of times, and Morgan spent the whole week with them, mostly at Nick's parents' house, but 2 days up at the lake cabin with Nick's grandmother. Daisy and Maddox were inseparable, and they can't wait to see each other again. 

Speaking of seeing each other again, we leave for Texas Friday morning. We ended up doing a loan from his 401K to pay off a few bills and make the trip. Everyone always says, "Oh - that's such a bad idea!" But the way it works with his company is that we pay it back via his paycheck and pay interest on it (to ourselves), so nothing is lost, and it goes right back into the 401K.

It will be a long trip, around 14 hours of driving, so we appreciate your prayers for safe travels and no potty training accidents. About potty training - Daisy has completely mastered it now (knock on wood). It was back and forth and really sporadic for a while, but spending so much time with Maddox has really seemed to have done the trick. She's not had an accident in days now!

Anyway, I'm off to bed - lots to do tomorrow! Good night!
