Before Nick and I were parents, we made several trips a week to a local billiards hall. The place was small, dingy, and smoky, but it was inexpensive, and that was a selling point in our early days of marriage. We've been back very few times since we became responsible, parenting adults, but when we have made it for old time's sake, I always feel such a rush of sexual energy. It just takes me right back to the days when sex at any minute was a possibility (probability, even!).
